BRITAIN’S cheapest full English breakfast costs a mouthwatering 99p.
It includes a Cumberland sausage, bacon rasher, fried egg, baked beans and slice of toast.
Bosses at Grafters Cafe, in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, say they have sold 2,000 of the fry-ups since opening two weeks ago.
They claim it is cheaper than cooking at home but allows them a tiny profit on each serving.
Manager Spencer Freedman, 49, said: “We open at 6am and are right next to a busy road which builders and suppliers use.
“There are also a lot of bedsits in the area and we want to give everyone the opportunity to have a good meal at a low cost.”
Care worker Emily Edgington, 20, said: “The food is lovely.”
Train driver Dean Forsyth, 41, said: “There have only been two days I haven’t been here since it opened.”
