Downton Abbey fans can have Christmas dinner at Highclere Castle this year

DOWNTON Abbey fans, you might want to sit down for this one.
You can now book to have Christmas dinner at Highclere Castle (aka where Downton Abbey was filmed) - and it could be the best festive present ever.
Premium Tours is offering a "Downton Abbey Experience" on December 15 - and it sounds like a total dream.
The incredible building is in Hampshire and to celebrate Christmas, the company is offering a trip to the castle, where you can enjoy champagne and canapés, followed by a tour of the reception rooms.
You'll then sit down for a delicious three-course dinner (with wine) prepared in the castle's kitchens, followed by carols around the Christmas tree.
Travel to the castle is via a fancy air-conditioned coach, departing from London at 4pm and returning between midnight - 12.30am.

Hotel drop-off is provided if staying in zone 1.
Premium Tours has also provided a sample menu - and it looks utterly delicious:
Starters
- Lady Carnarvon charred salmon and avocado tian leaf salad and Melba toast, or
- Roasted vegetable terrine with micro cress salad, aioli sauce (vegetarian option)
Main
- Roasted turkey breast with pigs in blankets, cranberry sauce, roasted fondant potato, Brussels sprouts with chestnuts and Vichy carrots, or
- Baked "Goldcross" goat's cheese, pine kernels and red onion puree wrapped in filo pastry with water cress foam, extra virgin olive (vegetarian option)
Dessert
- Christmas pudding and brandy cream sauce
Drinks
- One bottle of red or white wine per couple
