‘Monsters’ who store chocolate in the fridge slammed in hilarious viral debate… so where do YOU stand?
WHETHER it's a naughty treat or a crucial pick-me-up, there's never a bad time to reach for your favourite chocolate.
However, a hilarious debate has erupted online between those who store the sweet stuff in the fridge and others who keep it in the cupboard.
It all started when a police station in Australia shared a post on calling out those who refrigerate their chocolate.
"People who put chocolate in the fridge are the same people that don't keep left unless overtaking. We're now targeting both," the New South Wales cops wrote.
Their tongue-in-cheek statement triggered a host of responses - with many divided over where to keep it in the kitchen.
The post has received more than 14k 'likes' and 9k comments.
Some agreed with police that those putting it on the fridge shelf should be brought to justice.
One person wrote: "About time someone did something about the actual monsters who refrigerate chocolate."
However, another commented: "I don't care. There is nothing more satisfying than nearly breaking your teeth biting into some hard, cold, delicious chocolate."
And a third shared: "My step dad puts his chocolate in the freezer."

However, last year a chocolate expert revealed that sweet treats should never be kept in the fridge, even when the weather is warm.
Luke Owen Smith, who owns an online store called the Chocolate Bar, told in New Zealand that the lower temperature messes with the taste.
He said that chilling chocolate in a fridge made it “dull”, and "doesn't release the flavours".
The expert added: "Extremely cold temperatures can mess with the temperature as much as hot temperatures can."
