Scan
THERE is a great new test now available outside hospitals called an optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan, which looks at the inner layers and structures of the eye. I tried it.
It can detect eye issues up to four years in advance. Can be pricey but Specsavers is offering it for just £10. A great investment for your future.

Drops
I LIKE these Thea Thealoz Dry Eye Drops because they don’t contain preservatives, which can irritate, but they are still OK to use three months after opening.
They give protection, hydration and lubrication for dry eyes. It helped mine.

Budget
A LONG-lasting liquid eyeliner promising up to 16 hours of smudge-proof wear. It has an easy-to-use, short, felt tip-like applicator.
The colour is an intense matte black and I was surprised at how good it was for the price. A fab budget buy.

Mid
A DUAL-ended eyeliner pen featuring a wing-shaped stamp on one side and a pointed pen on the other. The colour is a deep black and didn’t smudge.
It takes a little practice to get the stamps in the right place and at the right angle but once you have mastered that, it couldn’t be easier. My favourite.
- Ciaté London, Stamp and Drag Liner (£15, )
Luxury
THIS double eyeliner pen features a short, fine calligraphy tip on one end and a longer, fine brush on the other.

Both the brush and the tip make it easy to get precise lines and the colour doesn’t smudge. Very pricey for an eyeliner but the formula is amazing.
