I’m a health coach – here’s my Starbucks ‘order hack’ to slash 280 calories
HAVING a delicious coffee that you don’t have to make yourself is a nice treat.
But they can be high in sugar, making it hard for you to enjoy, especially if you’re watching what you eat.
If you’re following a calorie controlled plan and you’re trying to cut back on the amount of sugar in your diet, these sugar-laden drinks are surely a no-no.
It was previously found that our tea and coffee habits could be piling us with additional calories.
Meanwhile some of your favourite iced beverages have also been found to contain up to 12 tea spoons of sugar.
Researchers found the high street favourites are packed with almost two days’ worth of sugar in a single drink.

One coach has however revealed how you can still get a tasty drink without having to use up calories on your daily coffee.
Taking to TikTok, fitness expert revealed her Starbucks order hack that can save you hundreds of calories.
She claims that her favourite beverage, the French Vanilla Cold Brew, is only 70 calories.
She orders one Grande Cold Brew, with a pump of hazelnut syrup.
Then Bec adds in two pumps of sugar free vanilla flavouring, with a dash of light cream.
This saves around 280 calories when compared to a classic brand favourite, the Caramel Frappuccino – which has 370 calories.
Bec has also revealed her guilt-free McDonald’s order, to save on calories.
She said her hack means you can get a high protein meal that is still tasty and scratches your itch for a treat.
The Australian said it’s her ‘go to’ drive thru order.
“It gives you a lower calorie, higher protein bacon and egg McMuffin burger.
“Add a bacon and egg McMuffin to your order then customise it.
“Take off the oil, take off the cheese, add an extra egg and then some tomato sauce.

“It’s around 300 calories and almost 30 grams of protein”, she explained.
The Australian menu is slightly different in the UK, but you can get a similar order from your local branch.
