The 63-year-old board-certified surgeon and clinical editor of The Aesthetic Journal, asked viewers “listen” – as he grabs onto a pink, egg-like object.

In the, which has been viewed over 29.6million times, the doctor applies pressure to the object, which begins to crack open and a smooth saline breast implant is pulled from the casing.

He said: "In this video I am opening a severely calcified capsule (CC) around a 30-year-old implant.

"The patient had grade IV capsular contracture (scar tissue around implant}.

"This case was one of the worst cases I have ever seen, because of the amount of calcification.

"It was quite remarkable. I was a bit stunned.

“In this case, it was initially hard like an egg shell.

"When I started to press and squeeze the capsule began to have and I felt a crunching sound and feel.”

And it's not just the doctor who was left stunned, as social media users rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

“Forbidden kinder egg,” wrote one user.

“Top tier ASMR,” (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) commented a second user.

“I’ll never unsee this,” wrote a third person.

“I thought it was a heart and was like WHAT IS HAPPENING?,” added someone else.

'IT'S HATCHED'

"It hatched," wrote another person.

Dr Moliver also explained how a soft breast implant became encased in what looks almost like stone.

He said: "CC is a thickened layer of scar tissue or collagen.

"Normally a thin layer of collagen is laid down around the breast implant.

"This capsule is microns-thick and is soft, compressible and indistinguishable from the underlying implant.

“In CC, the layer of collagen thickens and gets firmer and firmer.

"It can be caused by an unrecognised small or moderate amount of bleeding that may occur in the first few days after surgery.

SKIN BACTERIA

“Or, more commonly it is caused by normally present skin bacteria that touches the implant.

"It causes a biofilm and the body reacts to this biofilm by an immune reaction laying down layers and layers of collagen.

"After a long time period calcium will deposit within the capsule and within the wall of the capsule, as in this case.

"The biggest danger of severe CC is that it makes medical imaging more difficult and therefore may obscure breast pathology like cancer."

In the UK, breast enlargements, or “boob jobs”, aren’t normally available on the NHS although they can be provided in certain situations, such as if a woman has uneven or no breasts.

Undergoing a breast enlargement usually costs between £3,500 to £8,000 - although those figures don’t include any consultation fees or follow-up care.

Anyone considering the operation is urged to check check the  to see if the hospital or clinic is registered with them.

For anyone looking to go under the knife, the doctor also shares what to look out for to avoid the issue.

He added: "[To avoid the issue] consult with a board certified plastic surgeon.

"Be sure they are familiar with the 'no touch' technique as this technique is currently believed to reduce the chances of developing CC."
