Lorraine Kelly reveals favourite sweet snack that helped her shed 11lb
LORRAINE Kelly has lifted the lid on a sweet treat that helped her shed 11lb.
The sofa queen looks slimmer than ever and credits WW for her amazing transformation.
But the Scots host admitted her guilty pleasure was a chunk of chocolate before bedtime.
However the 62-year-old discovered a healthy substitute which helped on her impressive weight loss journey.
Her fitness coach Suzie Stirling told : “Lorraine loves chocolate and had got into the habit of eating lots of it before bed.
“She didn’t want to give it up for good, so now she has a big bowl of fruit, such as berries, melon and mango, which she dips into a little pot of WW Chocolate Spread.”
The breakfast telly star has been open and honest with fans over her fitness challenges.
It comes after revealing she crept up two dress sizes during the pandemic due to comfort.
The bubbly presenter said she “didn’t feel great” about her new size, after realising her favourite dress didn’t fit anymore.
The 62-year-old never weighs herself and refuses to be dominated by the scales.
Speaking to , Lorraine said: “During the pandemic I started comfort eating and that was my downfall – comfort eating and not being able to go to my fitness classes.
“I wanted muffins, I wanted croissants, I wanted doughnuts. All of these things that you know you shouldn’t be having and you think it’s making you feel better at the time and it doesn’t.
“And so slowly, slowly, slowly over the past couple of years, I’ve gone from a size 10 to a size 14.
“If you look at me you can tell because I’m wearing different things.”
