I was too fat for sex – but I’ve finally lost my virginity at 29 after shedding 400 pounds and becoming a bodybuilder
Doctors warned him he would not live to his thirties
A MAN who was too fat for sex has undergone an incredible body transformation and shed 400 pounds to finally lose virginity at 29.
Leonardo Machado from Sao Vicente, Brazil, has turned from a 440-pounds “freak” into a bodybuilding champion.
Leonardo tipped the scales at 220 pounds at the age of 11.
When the Brazilian weighed a whopping 440 pounds, a doctor warned him he would not reach his thirties.
Now the 31-year-old has shared his story of regaining his confidence back.
Leonardo finally lost his virginity at the age of 29 after years of not having so much as a conversation with a woman.
The unbelievable weight loss has given Leonardo enough courage to finally overcome his fear of talking to the opposite sex.
He speaks openly of his experiences in hopes to inspire people who struggle finding a partner due to low self-esteem stemmed from being overweight.
He said: “I was afraid to even talk to women, I thought I was a freak.
“I can’t be ashamed to talk about issues like virginity because there are other people going through what I went through.
“I had a huge complex about my body and I was even afraid of talking to women.”
Leonardo decided to steer clear of getting close to other people when he was 20 years old.
At the time, he said he was publicly humiliated by a woman he wanted to have a relationship with.
He said: “It sounds like a movie story, but it’s real, and I talk about these things openly.”
During the following nine years, until the first time he had sex, Leonardo said he had “closed himself off from the world” and developed an addiction to porn.
He said: “I even felt ashamed to go to the market, because they looked at me in the street with pity and disgust.
“I didn’t take care of myself. I wore any kind of clothes, even torn ones, and I literally had no self-esteem.”
It took him years before he regained the courage to approach a woman again.
One day during his workout, he finally overcame his fear and spoke to a female gym-goer.
He said: “I was really embarrassed, but I looked at myself in the mirror and said: ‘I’m not that guy anymore, there’s no reason to be afraid and I’m not afraid. I’m someone else.’
“I worked on it in my mind, and then I was never afraid to talk to anyone again.”
Footage shows Leonardo’s shocking transformation from a massively obese “freak” to an incredibly fit man.
Today Leonardo calls himself Leo the Machine and even participates in bodybuilding competitions.
The bodybuilder who was once obese has changed his unhealthy diet of fattening fast food completely and began lifting weights to turn the fat into muscle.
