‘Beautiful’ mum-of-five, 35, who ‘always put others first’ dies suddenly at home – as heartbroken family issue warning

A MUM-OF-FIVE who died suddenly on Boxing Day aged just 35 is said to have "always put others first".
Jamie-Louise Farren passed away after suffering an asthma attack at her home in Withernsea, East Riding of Yorkshire.

Jamie was diagnosed with asthma as a baby and had endured many stays in hospital due to the illness.
Her heartbroken mum Lorraine Dawes-Farren urged other asthma sufferers to make time to attend appointments.
She said: "Asthma is a serious illness and unfortunately in our family's case a killer.
"Give your asthma the due care and attention that it seriously needs."

Paying tribute to Jamie, Lorraine said: "Being a very young and inexperienced mother of sixteen years old.
"I feel Jamie-Louise and I grew up together. Jamie-Louise taught me unconditional love in every aspect of my life.
"Throughout the years, she grew from a sassy little girl who loved life to the full, to a beautiful, strong, and independent woman.
"Jamie was a truly beautiful soul who was loving, caring, and loyal.

"Jamie-Louise attended Withernsea primary and went on to finish Withernsea high.
"She was popular amongst her circle of friends and remained good friends with a few of them.
Early Warning Signs of an Asthma Attack
"Jamie-Louise had a larger-than-life personality. She was playful and would often say or do something that was funny without realising it.
"This was part of her charm. She always had a story to tell but would put her slant on it, which made it funny.
"She was a straightforward talking person who was not afraid to speak up for herself or others.
"She went above and beyond for anyone Jamie-Louise centred her life around her children, Ethan, 16, Nevaeh, 14, Maggie-Mae 10, Henry-George, seven, and Colt-Jax two.
What are the symtoms of asthma?
MOST children and adults with asthma have times when their breathing becomes more difficult.
Some people with severe asthma may have breathing problems most of the time.
The most common symptoms of asthma are:
- wheezing (a whistling sound when breathing)
- breathlessness
- a tight chest - it may feel like a band is tightening around it
- coughing
Many things can cause these symptoms, but they're more likely to be asthma if they:
- happen often and keep coming back
- are worse at night and early in the morning
- seem to happen in response to an asthma trigger like exercise or an allergy (such as to pollen or animals)
See a GP if you think you or your child may have asthma, or you have asthma and are finding it hard to control.

"She fiercely loved them and spent her time baking, crafting, and going places with them.
"Being a mother came naturally to her, and she showed her love for them every day of their lives.
"It's not an easy task bringing up five children, one of which is disabled, but she bossed it every day."
Jamie's younger sister Georgina said: "Jamie was a loving, funny big sister with a heart of gold.
"If you knew Jamie, you'd know she'd go above and beyond for anybody.
"She often put others before herself and lived for her children up until her last breath. She will be missed deeply."

Boy, 10, died after playing on the trampoline and 'turning blue'
A BOY died after turning "blue" at school, his mum has revealed as a charity warned asthma care is at a "standstill".
Warren Dowling, 10, died suddenly after a day feeling "fine" at school and playing with his younger brother on a trampoline.
But his mother described how he asked for his inhaler after playing outside, but then quickly turned blue and stopped breathing.
Belinda Dowling, from Portsmouth, wants more to be done to raise the profile of the severity of the condition, saying that there has "never been enough awareness of asthma".
She said: "They say your life can change in a moment and we didn't know how true that was.
"Warren mostly managed fine with his asthma, but once or twice a year he'd have a really bad asthma attack and have to go to hospital, which was frightening.
"Then one evening last March, after he'd been fine in school all day and happily played with his little brother Cameron on the trampoline, he came to me and said he needed his inhaler.
"It didn't seem to be working and he started to panic, then while I was on the phone for an ambulance, he turned blue and stopped breathing."
Any surplus money will go towards supporting Jamie's five children.
Jamie's family added: "We're absolutely humbled with the amount donated so far.
"We want to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us during this incredibly difficult time.
"Whether you shared kind words, sent prayers, or contributed to the GoFundMe, your generosity and love have been truly overwhelming.
"Also a special thank you to the wonderful Withernsea community.
"Your compassion and unity have been a tremendous source of strength.
"The way you have come together to support us is a powerful reminder of the kindness and care that make our town so special."
