Dad’s life-changing £300 treatment for hair loss using blood from his arm
Adam Lee, 35, feared he would have to wear a baseball cap indoors if his hair got any thinner
A BALDING dad ended up with a full head of hair after paying a doctor £300 to inject a vial of blood directly into his scalp.
Adam Lee, 35, feared he would have to wear a baseball cap indoors if his hair got any thinner - so partner Ann got him the procedure for Christmas.
She shelled out £300 to get him a session with Dr Steven Sharm at a swanky London clinic.
Dr Sharm took a sample of blood from Adam's arm before before spinning it in a centrifuge to extract platelets.
He then injected the mixture directly into the electrical engineer's dying follicles to stimulate growth.
Dad-of-two Adam said: "I'm really happy with the results. I'm way more confident and I think it's improved my life a lot.
I don't feel like I'm going to have to wear a baseball cap indoors to hide my bald spot

"It was one of the best gifts I've been given, the difference it's made is huge.
"I don't feel like I'm going to have to wear a baseball cap indoors to hide my bald spot.
"I have people coming up to me saying I seem way more confident and happy - it's made such a big change.
"I got a new job and I think the extra confidence really helped in the interview."
EVIDENCE IT WORKS IS 'WEAK', EXPERTS CLAIM
The platelet-rich plasma hair regrowth treatment costs £300 per session at Dr Sharm's Allure clinic in Belgravia.
Patients are given a local anaesthetic before the platelet-rich plasma - which helps repair damaged cells - is injected into the follicles.
Dr Sharm claims this rejuvenates the dying follicles and helps encourage hair growth.
A recent study warned that clinical evidence that platelet-rich plasma treatment has any effect on hair loss "is still weak".
He said: "Adam seemed really pleased with the results.
"It's a procedure that's been around for a while but it's only started to take off recently.
"It won't work on anyone who is fully bald because their follicles are dead, but you can get good results on thinning hair."
