Dad’s 13 stone weight loss after eating KFC family bucket for lunch and 10,000 calories every day
A MORBIDLY obese dad lost a whopping 13 stone by ditching his eating habits — which included eating KFC family buckets at lunchtime and around 10,000 calories every day.
Mark Henderson, 46, tipped the scales at 32 stone before he decided to turn his life around.
He was so big at his highest weight that he couldn't even read his four kids bedtime stories — because he would have broken their beds.
The IT technician from Blackpool also struggled at work because he couldn't squeeze under desks to plug wires in.
Mark's junk food obsession ultimately saw him balloon to a size XXXXXL.
He'd also become physically incapacitated to the point where his 11-year-old son Thomas had to tie his shoelaces for him.
Worried doctors diagnosed the father with an abnormal heart rate, sleep apnoea, psoriasis and pre-diabetes.
Medics said all of his conditions were brought on by his morbid obesity — which made Mark want to change his life.
He decided he would shed some of his enormous weight by cutting out animal products and only eating vegan food.
Speaking about his past habits, Mark said: "I would always order a family-sized meal for myself and double up on burgers.
"I would eat 6,000 to 10,000 calories a day but at the time it didn't seem like that much at all.
"Previously I wasn't even able to sit on my kids' beds to read bedtime stories as they would have broken, but now I can enjoy walks in the park with them and other activities like cycling.
"I no longer see being a vegan as a diet, it is a lifestyle change for the rest of my life."

Before he went vegan, Mark would scoff down a breakfast of double-sausage egg McMuffins and follow it up with chips, pizza and KFC throughout the day.
He's now replaced the junk with almond milk, quinoa salad or lentil stew, berries or nuts.
Mark now gets about 2,000 calories a day instead.
