From farting in bed to falling asleep: Brits come clean about their embarrassing sex fails

CRYING, farting and attacks of the giggles happen to the best of us – even during a sex session, according to a survey.

Embarrassing incidents have struck a whopping 75 per cent of people quizzed for a sex study, with the staggering figure admitting they’d been left red faced for all the wrong reasons between the sheets.

Top of the list was having a member of family walk at just the wrong moment, which has happened to 63 per cent of people.

More than 2,500 Brits opened up about their most mortifying raunchy moments, with 58 per cent of women revealing they’d accidentally farted in the heat of passion.

Next on the list was surprise menstruation, which had affected 37 per cent of ladies.

Following that were the 21 per cent of women who’d struggled to contain their laughter at just the wrong moment, while nine per cent had gagged while in the moment and five per cent had experienced issues with a sex toy.

Falling asleep was top of the list for guys, with 26 per cent agreeing it was a source of shame.

While that would be awkward, surely even worse would be the 21 per cent of men who revealed they’d cried after a sex session.

Cringe-inducing for 15 per cent of guys was an attempt to talk dirty which went horrifically wrong.

Of those quizzed, 11 per cent admitted finishing too soon left them with a bad taste in the mouths, while an astonishing ten per cent cited “unfortunate defecation timing” as ruining the moment.

Perhaps thankfully there was no more information provided on what that actually meant.

The survey was carried out by MedExpress, with 40 per cent of people admitting they get “easily embarrassed” while romping.

Most humiliating experiences happened in the North West, with 38 per cent of people stating things got so bad they had to stop sex immediately.
