LOOKING for a job but don’t have much on your CV? Applying for work at this butcher's could be the solution for you.
William Rose butcher's specialises in premium organic and free range meat, but it seems like they’re not as fussy with their employees.
Although the meat shop insists that workers are “hard-working”, the other requirements have been leaving everyone in stitches.
“No drama queens
“No drunks
“No drug addicts
“No emotional wrecks
“No mummys boys
“No scruffs.”
Since a baffled passer-by spotted the unusual advert, they posted a screenshot of it to popular Facebook group .
An amused Londoner said: “Bit picky ain’t they...” while another added: “Not a person in this group would qualify.”
Another joked: “Oh f*** I was doing well til I got to no emotional wrecks well that’s met out then!”
It’s not the first time that a bizarre job application advert has caused a stir online this year.
Budget retailer Morrisons was accused of being anti-Liverpool when they released a casting call for one of their adverts which stated “nobody from Liverpool please."
Morrisons' controversial posting caused a social media storm when it was revealed they were looking for “proper working class people” but weren’t keen on featuring any distinctive Merseyside tones.
The notice said: "They should be proper working class people but not at all like the people from Benefits Street.
"They should NOT sound or look posh and we should skew towards northern accents. And nobody from Liverpool please."
The posting titled ‘Morrisons’ came from Casting Networks Inc – however the supermarket says it does not work with the advertising agency and are investigating the matter.
Twitter went into a frenzy when clothing store Transalpino posted a screenshot of the ill-judged casting call.
User @daveleachuk said he would no longer be shopping at Morrisons: "Well that’s @Morrisons off my list. ‘Nobody from Liverpool please’ as an instruction to recruit advert actors.”
While @MarieMcDavid tweeted: “Absolutely appalling from @Morrisons. ‘Nobody from Liverpool’ happy to take our money though.”
Although Scousers weren’t the only ones discriminated against in the ad, as @YasmineSebbah pointed out: “Everyone crying about the Morrisons ad asking to not have people from Liverpool audition - they also excluded anyone ‘posh sounding’.”
