Student’s eBay cushion blunder goes viral as she is left with pillows for a DOLLS HOUSE
Yazmin Zurtti, 22, thought she had just got a really good deal
HOUSEPROUD Yazmin Zurtti unwrapped two pillows she bought on eBay and discovered they were only an inch big.
Yazmin, 22, ordered the £4 black damask pair to display on her bed, not realising they were meant for a doll’s house.
She said: “They looked like the real thing in the pictures.
“I thought I had got them for a good price and they would look smart.
“When I opened the package I just stood there with them in my hand thinking, ‘What am I supposed to do with these?’
“I thought it was a wind-up at first. I couldn’t stop laughing.”
The psychology student, from Wigan, added: “I’d picked these pillows because they matched my bedding and I’ve just done my room up.
“I had it all planned how they would look.
“I’ve got two big pillows and the plan was for these to sit either side of them on the bed.
“I guess that will teach me to read the small print.”
Yazmin, who also paid £2 for postage, was at home with boyfriend Anthony Potts, 24, and her sister Hana, 14, when the pillows arrived on Saturday.
She said: “They were in hysterics. My sister was screaming, ‘Are those the cushions?’
“It’s my own fault for ordering the wrong thing.”
Yazmin put photos of her blunder on Facebook and the post went viral with more than 100,000 likes and 23,000 shares.
She said: “It’s gone crazy.
“People in America have been stealing my pictures and passing them off as their own.
“All my mates were taking selfies with the pillows.
“I’ve had people messaging me asking if they can buy them but I’m keeping them now. They’re famous.
“They’re sitting proudly on top of my cabinet now.”
