Women make more noise in bed than men – especially when they’re cheating on their partners
The poll found that married men and women were at least 60 per cent more likely to be louder with a lover than their spouse
A NEW survey has revealed that women are actually much louder during sexual intercourse than men.
According to a recent study, a whopping 88 per cent of women admitted that they were noisier while making love.
While a massive 64 per cent of male respondents confirmed that their female lovers drowned them out when they were getting intimate.
The poll of 1,000 people was carried out by IllicitEncounters.com, Britain's leading dating website for married people.
And the research also revealed that seven out of ten men (71%) said they enjoyed it when their partner was vocal during sex.
Also almost as many women, 62 per cent, said they enjoyed it when their male partner audibly expressed pleasure during sex.
Shockingly, the results also found that married men and women are quieter when having sex with their spouse compared to when they’re with their lover.
Of the participants, six out of ten women and 72 per cent of men per cent said they did make more noise in bed when they were cheating.
IllicitEncounters.com spokesman Christian Grant said: "Noisy sex tends to be an individual thing. Some people scream the house down at a concert, others watch without making a sound. It doesn't mean they're not enjoying it as much!
"One theory might be that since women fake it more often than men do, perhaps they feel obliged to provide 'evidence' that they're enjoying themselves?
"It is interesting that people having affairs make more noise when having sex with their lovers than they do with their married partners.
"All IllicitEncounters.com evidence suggests that this is because the sex is more exciting when you're having an affair.
"Most people who stay in a marriage while cheating on their partner say they end up straying because their sex life at home has become staid and boring."

Women on the site cheat more than men, enjoying three clandestine dates a month, compared to men's two.
