‘I’ll get YOU summer ready’: Reality queen Vicky Pattison shows you how to get fit and fab – Day 1
The I'm a Celeb winner promises to get you toned in time for summer
GEORDIE Shore babe Vicky Pattison has teamed up with The Sun to get your body in tip-top shape for summer, and the months beyond.
Vicky, who was crowned last year’s I’m A Celeb winner, promises her exclusive diet, exercise and lifestyle guide will not leave you starving or slogging away at the gym.
Here, in Day One of our exclusive five-part-series, the 28-year-old reveals how she plans to get you feeling fit and fabulous in no time.
After spotting a beach snap of herself in a bikini on holiday in 2013, Vicky was determined to change her life.
Vicky said: “I know what I’m talking about because I’ve been on my own weight-loss journey.
“I piled on the pounds eating takeaways and binging on alcohol-fuelled nights out, ballooning to a size 16.
“But after I saw a picture of myself on a Marbella beach holiday in 2013, I was inspired to swap my unhealthy lifestyle for home-cooked meals and workouts.”
Following Vicky’s simple health plan allows you to get the perfect life balance between eating good food and working out around your lifestyle, while still being able to indulge in the odd treat here and there.
The Geordie babe revealed: “It took a while to find the perfect life balance. I became obsessed for a while.
“I’d count out my food and feel awful about myself if I had just one square of chocolate.
“I got down to 8st 4lb but I was miserable. I had no social life and couldn’t enjoy being slim.”
“When I realised this, everything changed. I stopped beating myself up and realised the main thing is to be happy and healthy.”
Now, if Vicky works out four times a week and isn’t afraid to eat a cheeky chocolate bar or go out with friends for a drink.
She confessed: “My happy weight now is 9½st, I’m a size 8 and totally comfortable. When I was a size 16 I had no confidence at all.
I want to let girls know that losing weight does not mean you have to starve yourself while sweating your t*** off!”
Vicky has set up her own online nutrition and fitness site, , to share tips that she learnt along her fitness journey.
She said: “I’ve put my heart and soul into creating these recipes with my team, and my workouts are genuinely what I do at home with my trainer.
“With my plan, you can enjoy eating good food, work out around your lifestyle and have the occasional treat when you need it.”
