Killing animals and stabbing students with scissors… teachers reveal the horrific behaviour that convinced them their students would become criminals

Users of Reddit have recalled some of the terrifying things they witnessed at schools

ANYONE who’s spent time moaning that teachers have an easy job might want to have a bit of a re-think.

Yes they get long holidays, but after hearing some of these stories there can be no doubt they deserve them.

kicked things off by asking teachers who use the forum to describe anything their students had done that convinced them they’d grow up to be a villain.

The answers came thick and fast and were VERY disturbing.

User Sunshine_Yellow recalled the exact moment it became obvious there were problems in a class.

“He was mad at me because I made him redo a math test so he walked over to the classroom door,” the user recalled.

“When I told him I would need to call the office if he left the room without permission he proceeded to slam his own leg in the door about five times, then he looked at me and said, ‘Now my leg hurts and I'm going to tell everyone it was your fault.’

“That's when I realized I may be in over my head with this class.”

A female science teacher who went by the name Hiscana recalled how upsetting she found one male student’s sexually-suggestive remarks.

After she’d bent down to pick up a pen he stood next to her and called her a “good girl”, but that was just the start.

“I was kind of shocked, so just said ‘Excuse me?’ and he replied with the creepiest ever top-to-toe survey of my body, a leer and then asked ‘Would you rather be a bad girl?’” she said.

“My whole body just recoiled. He was later permanently excluded for sexually coercing another student.”

User TakeTheCatDoor had a student who was manipulative and threatening.

A psychologist was called to sit in on a class, where the boy behaved like a model pupil.

Once the lesson was over, the boy winked and his teacher and asked how he’d done – making it clear he knew he was being watched, even though he was only about seven.

Most upsetting were the slew of stories about children who killed animals.

“Broke into his neighbours yard, stole his pet ferret, killed it, skinned it, pinned it to the door of the neighbours house..... more than once,” user alwayslurkeduntilnow wrote.

Puppers-n-Playdoh revealed: “Kid was caught trying to smother his three year old brother in the living room leather couch.

“And Kid purposely killed a duck. He was young but a great baseball pitcher.

“He was at the park and picked up a rock, then he chucked it directly at a duck's head.

“The duck seized for a moment then died in the water. Kid had no emotional reaction according to mom.”

Another recalled being a student and seeing a classmate pull a fish out of an aquarium and cut off its fins with scissors.

Many teachers told of children who seemed completely unaffected by violence, or who seemed too cunning for their age.

One of those was VStryker, who said: “A student told us this story, and he's just awful enough that I believe it.

“So when he was a kid, he fell at a pool and his mom was able to sue. He then blackmailed his mom by telling her that if she didn't give him some of the money then he would tell everyone that he didn't really fall and that his mom made him lie to the court.”

Another teacher told the story of a little girl, around seven, who was found to have planned how to murder them and a colleague in meticulous detail.

Chosen_Watcher discussed two stories, which they believe prove scissors shouldn’t be allowed in schools.

One saw a boy chop a girls’ plait of hair off, leaving her in floods of tears.

The user wrote of the other: “I am explaining some grammar and from the corner of my eye I see a 12 year old boy grab a pair of scissors from his pencil case, I tell him to put it away as he doesn't need it and said kid looks me right in the eye and proceeds to stab the pair of scissors in the leg of the girl who it sitting next to him. No twitch, no guilt, just trying to claim it was an accident.”
