Did YOU know these four creepy ways to stalk people on Facebook?
You may think you knew all the tricks of the trade... but here's what to do if you can't find their profile, or it's too private
GOT a new crush, a frenemy you love to hate, or even a job interview with someone you’d like to know more about?
We’ve all been there – but sometimes certain profiles can be annoyingly difficult to track down, or disappointingly dull when you do finally find it.
Luckily, Facebook is a stalker’s paradise and Mark Zuckerberg’s people are constantly finding new ways for you to track down that person who’s been playing on your mind.
Here are four creepy tricks you might not yet know about…
1. For when you’ve forgotten their name, or there’s just too many John Smiths to trawl through
Only know the person’s first name? Or, even better, did drunk you save them in your phone as ‘(insert bar’s name) guy or girl’?
Well, never fear, there’s a way to track your new crush down WITHOUT spending endless hours searching through every ‘Tom’ or ‘Harry’ on Facebook.
If you have someone’s number, you can simply copy and paste it into the search bar and that elusive profile will magically appear.
This could also be good for stalking someone before a big job interview, or tracing down the mystical sender of a text from a number you don’t have saved.
But remember this works both ways, and is yet another reason NOT to give out your number to someone you’re not really into.
2. For when their profile’s annoyingly private
So you’ve successfully tracked down the profile, but sadly there’s not much to see.
One profile picture and a scenic shot from their last holiday isn’t exactly going to keep your stalking needs at bay.
Want more pictures? Of course you do.
Typing ‘recent photos of’ before the person’s name should give you A LOT more to play with.
3. Want to know which girls he’s been flirting with online?
Be careful, this one has the potential to make you angry.
Has he liked every profile picture of that girl you hate? Maybe give him a miss.
Anything weird on there? Run for the hills.
4. Want to know what someone’s into?
Simply type ‘pages liked by (his or her name)’ and voila! All the person’s musical, film and personal interests are instantly unlocked.

It may also be worth typing in ‘pages liked by me’ for good measure, just to check there’s nothing weird still on there from your teenage emo days – and to stop annoying pages clogging up your news feed.
