Frightened of the feline

Hilarious video shows muscular Pit Bull tiptoeing down a corridor to avoid waking a cat

In the clip adorable dog Redd cautiously tries to sneak past his feline foe taking care with every paw step

PIT BULL Terriers  have a reputation for being ferocious in nature, but this video shows that when it comes to cats, some dogs have the fear factor.

Redd was filmed while being looked after by a foster family while an animal rescue organisation tries to find him a home – and it seems that the feline rules the roost in the house.

The clip, which was posted by New York based Pounds Hounds Res-Q, showed the muscular canine, who looked every inch the alpha male, tiptoeing past the room the cat was sleeping in.

Looking hesitant, he can be seen moving slowly and carefully down a tight corridor.

At first it was not clear why he was being so careful, paying attention to every paw step.

He seemed so fearful he even stopped dead in his tracks at one point.

However it soon became clear he was attempting to be as quiet possible, so as not to alert the cat in the room he had to pass.

His foster parents explained the cat lives behind the door, and Redd didn’t want to draw the attention of the sleeping feline.

His foster parents wrote online they cannot “fathom” why he hasn’t been adopted, and asked social media followers if anyone had seen a dog tiptoe before.
