DISCOVERING you've left the price tag on the bottom of your shoe can be pretty embarrassing - especially if you're an A-list celeb on the red carpet.
But the pesky things are often a real pain to get off without leaving behind that stubborn, sticky white paper residue on your brand new pair of heels.
But did you know there's a quick and easy way of peeling off those labels without leaving a single trace of £-signs and barcodes?
All you need is a hairdryer.
As demonstrated in this video, uploaded by on YouTube, the clever technique also works for items like bowls, pots and kitchenware - so long as the material isn't too heat sensitive.
Presenter Jeremiah Brent explains: "I try to peel back the sticker on the bottom and it becomes this giant mess.
"All you need is a hairdryer, a little bit of time, and it's that easy."

He then simply takes the item containing the price label and blasts it with hot air for around five seconds.
Once the heat is applied, he then peels off the label with ease.
Why not give it a go?
If the sticker doesn't come off after five seconds continue to blast it with heat until it does - though if it's plastic make sure you don't melt it.
This should minimise the residue left behind on the heel - but if there's a little bit there, some warm, soapy water will do the trick.
Earlier this week we shared a handy garden hack for getting rid of pesky wasps.
