The property's current golf-obsessed owner chose the property for its proximity to the Costa del Sol's golf courses, but now the former footballer is looking to get some putting in elsewhere.

Glenn, who played as a midfielder for Chelsea, Spurs and England, said: "I love the area of Sotogrande and there are some of the most wonderful golf courses in Europe there. I love my golf and have enjoyed many years here."

The football legend added: "My favourite part of the house is the terrace. I've spent many many hours chilling and eating with family and friends. The views are wonderful and there is a calmness sitting there.

"I've had the house as a holiday home for about 13 years but feel I want to experience a different place now."
