IN THE DOGHOUSE

Passive aggressive note left on car windscreen urges inconsiderate driver to stop parking in two spaces

How would you deal with a dodgy driver?

THE power of the windscreen note strikes again, as an angry resident shames a careless parker in the most passive-aggressive way possible.

It turns out that using an illustration of a cheeky-looking dog could be the best method of ridding your road of parking hogs.

The printed message, which was left on the car windscreen, reads: “I am giving you this dog, his name is Spot.

“I thought you might want him, as you seem to be trying to take as many spots as possible.

“I hope this helps.”

Since a picture of the parking-shaming was posted onto Reddit yesterday, it’s racked up almost 5,000 points.

Many commenters commended the resident for their way of handling the irritating situation.

One Reddit user remarked: “That’s a cute, non-threatening note. It also gets the message across.”

Another added: “I wish I was creative enough to come up with something like this.

“I would just become irate and curse under my breath.”

Over the past year, it seems that furious drivers leaving notes on car windscreens has become a huge trend.

Last month, the owner of a smart car decided to take matters into his own hands by leaving a warning message for a Mercedes driver that had blocked him in.

The words, left on the car windscreen by a Londoner, read: “You are very brave parking your nice merc so close to my smart car which I don’t give a s*** about!!!”

There’s no doubt that the dodgy parker will think twice about squeezing into a tight gap again, as he wouldn’t want to get his fancy motor scratched up.

Similarly, in April, a Clapham resident came up with an imaginative way to get his own back on a selfish car owner.

Placing a neatly written questionnaire onto the windscreen seemed to be the best way for this motorist to vent his anger.

This note was addressed to an ‘inconsiderate neighbour / Stevie Wonder’Credit: Facebook

Baffled at who the phantom parker could be, the writer addressed the note to an “inconsiderate neighbour, “weekend reveller” or blind singer “Stevie Wonder”.

The passive aggressive message continues: “Did you: A. Park in a legitimate parking space?

“B. See it wasn’t a legit space, think ‘f*** it’ and park there anyway #yolo!
