From grooms being ARRESTED, to mums trying to change the wedding date... dozens of horror stories have been shared on Reddit
WEDDING planning can be a stressful experience, but would you expect the bridezilla to BITE her driver?
From grooms being arrested to brides threatening to ban family members from the big day – event organisers have taken to Reddit to discuss their worst wedding experiences.
Locus Hammer, who used to man wedding photobooths, recalled one event where “the bride punched her mother in the face during photos, kicked out the groom’s best man, and then cussed out our videographer.
“This woman was going mad. Everything was cussing, screaming, yelling scolding.
“Later that night, I watched her shove a groomsman to the ground when he asked her to calm down. She eventually broke into tears randomly at some point.”
Meanwhile, Banned from Lamo said his photographer friend “got punched in the face by the groom, because the groom decided that the photographer was ‘taking too many photos of the bride’.
“Weddings seem to bring out the worst in humanity.”
Commenter M30w7h said: “I work as a hotel manager and we see bridezillas all the time.
“The worst was when a bride was so upset that she couldn’t fit all of her bridesmaids on one shuttle back from the reception (they took two vans on a 10 minute trip back to the hotel and it only seats 12) that she tried to physically assault the driver.
“He left her on the side of the road when she tried to bite him.
“When the groom found out and came to get her, she was acting so crazy he went to pick her up with her parents and when they found her trudging back down the highway and heard her s***y attitude they left her there too.”
Toronto Planner, who has eight years’ experience in the industry, added: “I had a really high strung groom who yelled at one of his young guests (the kid was 12) for sitting out of his assigned seat, and told the kid and his parents to leave.
“Later at night, the bride’s father (who was single) made out with one of the bridesmaids, and the groom punched him. We had to call an ambulance, and the groom was arrested.

While some told tales of mumzillas.
Wedding planner Girl Friday Fail revealed: “I had been working with the bride and groom. A few months into planning the groom’s mum calls me to change the date of the wedding.

While when Logic Chick had a shock when she took the happy couple out to celebrate their engagement.

Meanwhile, Classic Jenny told a tale of a bride who claimed to be in love with her male wedding planner less than a week before her big day.
And another wedding planner said an Ivy League-educated psychiatrist who "tried to play head games with absolutely everyone involved" was their worst customer to date.
Naedru, who worked at a mobile bar company, added: “Groom took drugs, went mental, threw chairs and jumped on my car.”
Meanwhile, others said brides refused to accept that they may have to buy their dresses in a bigger size, and ended up with expensive frocks which they could not even zip up.
