It's not clear what happened to the unknown woman but the video has sent the internet into a spin.

A YouTube user commented: "That was like a magic trick."

While another wrote: "Personal flotation devices exist for a reason. Also seatbelts."

But other viewers weren't convinced by the footage with one saying: "It's edited, the hills on the coast change."

In other mysterious news, a holidaymaker filmed moving bumps in the water at Loch Ness and viewers swear his footage is proof the monster is real.

Tony Bligh recently visited the Scottish loch, where he spotted something unusual making its way through the water.

The tourist captured this footage showing what appears to be a series of fins making their way through the waves, and viewers are claiming that this short film is definitive proof of  Nessie’s existence.

Tony, an Engineer from Dublin, uploaded the video to YouTube, where it quickly racked up over 22,000 views.

He said: “While visiting Loch Ness I noticed this weird formation on the loch near to Inverness end of the loch. Could it be the elusive Nessie?"

He shot the footage from a vantage point overlooking the famous loch.

But, while this film has whipped conspiracy theorists into a frenzy, not everyone is so convinced that this can be counted as a certain Nessie sighting.

Locals are dismissing the footage as an “optical illusion”, caused by waves left behind by a passing boat.

And Tony himself wasn’t even convinced that he was in the presence of the legendary Nessie.

He added: “I am tending towards the wake of a boat – I am an engineer and I am on the side of logic.”
