Book her now! Adorable nine-year-old girl is Britain’s youngest pro wedding photographer

Regina Wyllie first picked up a camera aged just three

A PROFESSIONAL photographer has wowed her clients with her stunning shots - despite the fact she's only NINE years old.

Regina Wyllie, from Ayrshire, Scotland, first picked up a camera aged just three - and has since followed in the footsteps of her dad Kevin Wyllie, who is also a photographer.

Dad Kevin nurtured his daughter's keen interest in the camera, gently encouraging her to take photos - but never forcing her to pursue photography as either a pastime or career.

He told : "Regina became interested in photography at a very young age.

"She first started asking questions about how to use my cameras."

He added: "Regina has never been on a regimented training plan.

"I just answer questions when she asks them, and when she wants to do some shooting she can.

"Over the years she's tagged along to quite a lot of shoots, so her skills just grew through experience."

On April 15 of this year, Regina used the skills she learned from her dad at her first wedding shoot - where she captured over 400 breathtaking images, completely unassisted behind the camera.

Her other previous works include a local magazine shoot with a comedian and a unique "Trash the Dress" project, where she accompanied her dad.

Before the wedding, Kevin and Regina discussed her ideas for the event before choreographing, setting up and taking the photographs on the big day itself.

Kevin explained: "She is quite a quiet girl, but when she has that camera in her hand she is super-confident and had no problem dealing with people or setting up shots throughout the day.

"Regina's next wedding is on July 1 and several of my other brides have called to ask if she can come along as they love her work."

He added: "I honestly don't have words to describe how proud I feel."

And it seems to be a passion that runs in the family as Kevin's other daughter, six-year-old Alba, also expressed an ambition to become a photographer.

Kevin said: "All she wants to know now is, 'When can I shoot a wedding, Dad?'"

Right now, Regina isn't totally sure where her incredible talent will lead her - although she has been encouraged by the incredible response to her picture-perfect work so far.

Her dad explained: "Regina has said she intends to definitely keep her photography going.

"In the past, she's said a few times that she just wants to keep it as a hobby, but over the past few days, upon seeing some of the response her work is getting and some of the nice messages she's received from people all over the world, she has said she might like doing this when she's older."
