IT’S long been thought that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but scientists reckon there are six physical features that explain why a man might check out a woman.
Apparently men are biologically hardwired to prefer specific traits that are associated with good health and fertility.
While women look out for physical strength - an indication of man's ability to provide and protect them.
According to Dr Midge Wilson at DePaul University, in Chicago, Illinois, guys do a "reproductive fitness assessment" in their mind to see if you're the perfect match for them.
Here are the six things they're looking at:
1. High-pitched voice
Researchers at the University College London say that having a higher-pitched voice represent youth and a smaller, feminine body.
2. Your smile
Researchers at the University of British Colombia that "the whiter the teeth, the better".

6. Wearing red
The colour red has always been associated with sex appeal so put on that scarlet dress and knock him off his feet.
