Can all women REALLY have multiple orgasms? Expert reveals the best way to achieve them
Dr Vivienne Cass explains why some ladies find it difficult to climax but gives her advice on how to keep reaching The Big O
SOME lucky ladies are fortunate enough to be able to easily achieve multiple orgasms, but is it actually possible for ALL women to do so?
According to Dr Vivienne Cass, author of The Elusive Orgasm, every woman who is able to climax, also has the ability to orgasm between five and seven times in a row, reports Women’s Health.
But sadly this isn’t the case for everyone and Dr Cass claims this is because of a number of different reasons, ranging from discomfort with your partner to simply being too tired.
"Many women are quite able to experience five to seven [in a row] easily," she explained.
"[But] while all women may have the potential to have multiple orgasms, the reality is that many do not."
Although, this isn’t the only reason many women find it hard to reach The Big O, another common problem can be overstimulation of the clitoris.
As many people know, the clitoris is extremely sensitive and has around 8,000 nerve endings, which is why it can be sent into overdrive and become unresponsive if it receives too much attention.

Once a woman has simulated their clitoris and finished the most intense part of their initial orgasm, Dr Cass recommends turning the focus to the vagina, in order to climax again.
Although, she still advises women or their partners to keep the pleasurable sensations going by continuing to gently massage the clitoris.
Dr Cass claims that another important element when trying to have multiple orgasms is to be mentally relaxed, let your partner know you want to and to try not to focus too much on reaching The Big O again.
Earlier this month, a national survey conducted by Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University’s School of Health, revealed that the most effective way to make a woman orgasm is by having anal sex.
Analysing the sexual behaviour of 5,865 people aged between 14-94 years old, the study found that anal sex was the best method to achieve orgasm.
And staggeringly, of the 31 per cent of women that admitted to having anal sex, 94 per cent revealed that they had climaxed this way.
The second most popular route to orgasm was vaginal intercourse, followed by oral sex.
