AN Instagram blogger has blasted the mobile phone company Samsung after she claims her new camera phone automatically airbrushed her selfies.
Mel Wells, author of The Goddess Revolution, was left reeling after she made the shocking discovery that her new Samsung mobile was editing her photos.
The former Hollyoaks actress shared a snap of the before and after photos to her 20,000 strong following on
The 26-year-old writes: "Wow Samsung. When you get a brand new phone and go to take a selfie and realise that the default setting on the front camera is automatically on "Beauty level 8" which evidently means: seriously airbrushed face.
"This means everyone who gets a new Samsung phone and flicks the front camera on is automatically being told 'Hi, we're Samsung and we think you look way better when we automatically airbrush your selfies for you, x 8!!'"
The woman, who played Loretta Jones in the Channel 4 soap, went on to slam the phone company for the negative effect their auto airbrush could be having on younger users.

Since uploading the post 5 days ago, Mel has already had over 1,300 likes and received over 100 comments supporting her.

"Having a teenager I see her doubting her beauty because of unrealistic media, from filters to magazines. More women need to stand up and be real thank you @iammelwells for making a start!"
