DURING Euro 2016 it’s safe to say that Wayne Rooney’s hair has been as volatile as his performance.
It’s no secret that the 30-year-old England skipper uses hair transplants to keep his locks luscious, but during the Three Lions tournament his bald spot has been ever-changing.
One minute his light brown barnet is thick and glossy, the next it's sparse and lifeless.
Here, we chart Rooney's disappearing (and then appearing) tresses...
As the striker stepped out of the Lowry Hotel in Manchester on 26 May in the lead up to Euro 2016, there were clear signs of balding.
Miraculously, just one day later, Rooney flaunted a fuller new hairdo while playing at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland.
"He looks great when he is wearing it, but they come out when you shampoo your hair.
"So if you don't wear them all the time, you can end up with pictures like these."
Rooney, who reportedly spent £30,000 on hair transplants at a Harley Street clinic, needs two more operations to cover his mid-scalp and crown, according to Asim.
He added: "He still has a good covering of donor hair around the back and sides, so these problems can be rectified."
But thinning locks aren't the only problem Rooney's got at the moment...
