Woman who was BULLIED for wearing a short dress to a wedding hits back at trolls

Liz Krueger was criticised for the outfit she wore to an event, but she's turned that into a positive

THE woman was was bullied for wearing a short and tight dress to a friend's wedding has vowed to keep discussing the issue in a big to stamp out such "disgusting" behaviour.

Liz Krueger is a nutrition and fitness coach who posted a picture of herself in a form-fitting peach dress on Instagram, along with details of her experience at a recent wedding.

She claims she was bullied by other women because of her outfit choice, n: "If only I knew that choosing this dress for a wedding on a 90 degree day meant so many women would be outrightly rude to me, and even come up behind me slap my ass as I’m standing alone, as quote ‘it was a dare from her friends, bc I was a target."

The story was picked up all over the world, with people quick to discuss their views on Liz's look.

Many were complementary, suggesting Liz, from Minneapolis, has every right to show off her super-toned body in any way she likes.

Liz was stunned by how interested people have been in her story, so she's now decided to use it for good.

"I am not playing a victim," she .

"I am not attention seeking. I am not vain. I am not s*utty. I was not trying to upstage a bride. I didn't have an agenda when I put on this dress.

"I'm not "a model trying to heighten my career."

"I'm sticking up for myself and my body, and the fact I can post about a bad experience I had at a wedding. Did I know it would go viral? Ummm no. I post every single day, but clearly this struck a cord with society.

"I posted this to call out disgusting actions. And to bring attention to the fact women don't treat each other well (not always to this extent), but it happens in our society on the daily.

"My social media is about positivity and empowerment and that's what I want it to continue to be. I'm not at home crying about this. I'm hoping these women stop being disrespectful and I hope we can all stand together one day, no matter what dress I'm wearing."

Liz has also called on women not to put up with others ganging up on them: "Let this be a lesson to everyone. Your actions have consequences.

"People deserve respect, no matter what they are wearing.

"Stand up for yourself. Don't be a quiet lamb. Be confident. Be strong.

"At the end of the day, know who you are, so when someone (or thousands of people) try to tell you different...you know you're right and they are wrong."

Liz posts on Instagram daily and she always tries to keep her message positive.

She's gone one step further now, starting the 'Krueger Kindess' initiative.

Liz was vowed to do "good things for other women" every day, and she's asking others to follow in her footsteps.

"Anything as simple as a complimenting a women daily, buying them a coffee/lunch, taking the time to speak to someone who's in a hard place, volunteering with girls who have been bullied, getting to know women deeper than surface level and making a point myself to not judge a book by its cover on a daily basis," she said.
