The "non-invasive" treatment promises to send women's sex drive through the roof

The orgasm shot, commonly known as the "O" shot, is a "non-invasive" procedure created to stimulate the vagina to make it more responsive to sexual pleasure.

It involves docs shoving a needle in one of your most sensitive parts of the body but it could be worth it for a better sex life.

The procedure, which only lasts about 20 minutes, involves injecting blood from another place on your body into the area near the clitoris and the vaginal opening - to stimulate the growth of new cells.

Originally created by Dr Charles Runnels, the very same doctor who came up with Kim Kardashian’s infamous "blood facial", the needle promises to send women's sex drive through the roof.

He explained: "There is no foreign body injected and there’s no surgery, it’s just an injection."

But not all doctors agree that it provides a cure for women who have sexual problems.

Dr Lauren Streicher, a gynaecologist in Chicago said: "There simply has not been adequate research to prove its safety and effectiveness for either orgasmic dysfunction or incontinence."

You can get one by visiting a vagina spa in the US, such as the in New York City, which was founded by Cindy Barshop of Real Housewives of New York.

The jab costs around £1200 and the effects last at least 18 months - but who knows what the side effects are?

It's probably best to stick to a whole lot of foreplay instead than take the risk.
