Video of keyboard player grimacing and baring her teeth during wild eyed band performance goes viral

The clip of the young woman who was playing with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps has been viewed over two million times

THIS keyboard player was really feeling the music when she performed – and her crazy animated facial expressions have gone viral.

Playing with the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, in the US, the blonde grimaced, bared her teeth, furrowed and raised her eyebrows as she smashed out the tune.

The video of her bizarre looks has gone viral and has been watched over two million times.

In the footage, she plays with zest along with the band, wearing her red and black uniform.

The young woman contorts her face into a number of crazy expressions in time to the music.

As well as baring her teeth, she can be seen tilting her head back with a manic look in her eye and appearing possessed.

Some of her other bandmates pulled expressions which were similar in intensity, but no one matched her crazy glare.

It led some to ask whether it was all part of the performance.

And she drew comparisons to King Joffrey in Game of Thrones as well as someone who had been taken over by an alien.

According to John Clougher, it may have been she was acting crazy for a reason – the band was playing tunes which had been inspired by Miguel de Cervantes' famous novel, Don Quixote.

It tells the story of a man who loses his sanity and then thinks he is a knight embarking on a quest.

The performance also included a quote: “When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies? Perhaps to be too practical is madness. To surrender dreams - this may be madness.

“Too much sanity may be madness - and maddest of all: to see life as it is, and not as it should be!”
