In the first two series of the popular British TV show, the Big Brother property was nestled in Bow, London.

After a brief spell in the capital, producers were forced to switch to a different location after an intervention from the Newham London Borough Council.

During the 2002 series of Big Brother, the house was broken into, causing show producers to up the security.

Moving the Big Brother house to Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Herfordshire, has allowed housemates an extra level of protection.

The new setting in Borehamwood is just a 22 minute train journey from London Kings Cross Station.

Each year, a new batch of contestants make their way into TV’s most famous home.

In preparation for every series, the producers transform the theme of the furniture, diary room and house decorations to reflect a particular theme.

Last year, avid Celebrity Big Brother fans were able to get their hands on props from the actual BB house for prices as low as a TENNER.

To raise money for a homeless charity, Crisis UK, 41 items including velvet chairs, quirky mirrors and an ornate dining set were all flogged on Gumtree.com.

If that wasn’t enough to keep reality TV fans happy, out for a swanky event of your own.

This September, for one month only, the Celebrity Big Brother house will be opening its doors for the first time.

The famous property, which has a capacity of 100 people, would be the perfect location for a special party or occasion.

Elstree Studios are even offering up the house for businesses to take part in their own team building exercises.

The website states: “It is the rare chance to temporarily become house mates, complete your very own group tasks, talk to Big Brother in the diary room and relax in the Big Brother garden.”

Viewers that would like to book out the celebrity venue can hire it from Monday-Thursday in September 2016.
