Is this the most cringe-worthy Facebook post ever? Guy leaves hilariously awkward post on the wall of a girl he kissed in a bar
The smitten lad tells her - and ALL the friends on her social network - that words can't express the fun he had in that moment, but he has a jolly good go trying
WE'VE all done things we're not proud of on a night out, and sometimes they come back to haunt you.
This was the case for this poor, unsuspecting girl, who snogged a lad at a bar while celebrating her 21st birthday.
It was probably a drunken kiss she'd rather forget and she may have thought she'd got away with it until he got in touch in a VERY public - and embarrassing - way.
His gushing message was so cringe, in fact, that the girl posted it to her Twitter account, writing: "It’s all fun and games until u kiss a stranger at a bar on ur 21st and he decides to POST ON UR FB WALL (sic)".
Now the poor bloke will no doubt be regretting not sending her a private message - or even a text, or ANYTHING ELSE.
His spectacularly awful post began: "So nice meeting you. I think you're an amazing person, and I really wish you the best. Enjoy the rest of your summer!"
If only he'd have left it at that.
But no, he continued: "And tell your friends that, even if they were a little harsh, and mean, it's okay. And I totally get it. Friends gotta look out for each other. But what they don't realise is... Is that you and me totally clicked.
"Well, I thought so at least. You're beautiful. And I really had a good time making out with you. And guy (or girl) would be lucky to have you.
"I hope you find someone special to love you. You deserve to be so happy. And so do your friends. Wishing you all the best! I'll ttyl."
Sufficient damage done, but all may not have been completely lost if he'd have left it at that.

Shame he carried on: "Sorry I couldn't give out my phone number, I seriously, just recently sold my phone. And no longer communicate that way. Which, so far, has been amazing.
"Anyways, if you like wanna see me again, I'm down. FB me if you'd like. I'll coming running. Cuz damn... That kiss was amazing.
"The one where we sat in the booth and had some alone time. Not the first one, where your friends were chanting KISS HER KISS HER... lol."
We're lol-ing too.
He went on: "Words can't express how much fun I had in that moment. So thank you for that. Message me when you sober up. I hope I get a chance to know y'all better. You seem kinda awesome! ;)".
Wow. Think he might be quite keen.
Meanwhile the girl who posted it has since deleted it and deactivated her Twitter account. Ouch.
