Man shares hilarious story of thinking he’d got his girlfriend pregnant at 12… even though all they’d done was hold hands

Kiran David ended up learning about the birds and the bees in the most embarrassing way ever

WHEN to have 'the talk' with your kids is a hotly-debated topic among parents.

Do you leave it and hope to avoid the embarrassing situation all together? Or go for it when they're young, even though it'll be mortifying?

Well, whatever you decide it's probably going to be better than what happened to this poor guy.

Kiran David detailed how he learnt about the birds and the bees on Twitter, in a story which is hilariously cringey.

It all began when little Kiran was 12 and managed to convince one of the prettiest girls in his school to go out with him. He's British but was at at American school, which he thinks helped.

As he explains, this was no mean feat as he wasn't one of the coolest kids at that time.

No matter,

All was going well, until she dropped the bombshell that she was pregnant one day.

Kiran was stunned and had no idea what to do with the information.

At this point he didn't know how babies were made - meaning the fact that all he'd done was HOLD HANDS with the girl didn't strike him as odd.

He raced home and decided it was time to be a man... so he told his mum what was going on.

"Get home. And decide to be an adult and HANDLE it," he recalled.

"Mom: how was school?

"Me: my girl pregnant

"Mom: What??

"Me: AND WE KEEPIN IT MOM."

Kiran's mum was stunned. She proceeded to quiz him on what he'd actually had sex with his girlfriend, prompting him to reply he hadn't.

Still things didn't click.

His mum called the school to organise a meeting for the following day with the headteacher, leaving Kiran with plenty of time on his hands to consider his predicament.

At this point he still thought he was going to be a dad.

"Because in my mind if that's ya girl and she get pregnant that's ya baby," he explained.

"That's what I thought. I was 12. Leave me alone."

The following day Kiran, his mum, his girlfriend, her mum and the headteacher sat down for a meeting.

He decided to speak first, telling the room he and his girlfriend were pregnant and keeping the child.

"Her mom goes off, 'Ya PREGNANT?! With HIM? He not even your boyfriend," Kiran recalled.

"I'm like, 'Wait WHAT.'

"My mom: 'WHEN DID YOU HAVE SEX?'"

Kiran didn't understand why his mum kept asking that question, and she finally realised he didn't know how babies are made.

"She proceeds to explain to me that to get pregnant sex has to happen," he said.

"I'm dead getting sex ed in front of my girl, her mom and the principle.

"Her mom confused, mad, annoyed and laughing all at once."

He eventually realised this meant he couldn't be the baby's father, but rather than being furious the 12-year-old boy was livid.

He ended up calling his girlfriend names, shouting at her mum, crying, screaming at the teacher and then storming out.

"I didn't get in any trouble," he added.

"At all. Never spoke about it for the rest of that year.

"Shawty dead had the baby (baby is gorgeous now)."
