Yesterday, a family's series of sweet snaps took the internet by storm when uses were surprised by what was hidden within them.

The confusing picture showed what looked like just a grey rug, but it's actually also the resting spot of choice for Stanley, a beloved pet poodle whose owners can’t stop tripping over him.

The seven-year-old pooch is tricky to spot as he basks on the rug, which lies in Deb and fiancée Pete Chisnall’s home in Wigan.

Stanley loves the slate grey rug, and spends most of his time lounging on it, which causes serious confusion in the family home.
