This giant Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup is the perfect treat to make the kids over the summer holidays
Because the only thing better than a Reese's Cup is a giant Reese's Cup
We’ve already made a giant Jaffa Cake, so obviously it was time to make a giant Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup.
Whether it’s as a treat for the kids over the summer holidays or just a cheeky oversized pudding for yourself, this is the cake you’ve always needed in your life.
INGREDIENTS:
2 x Packs of pre-made cookie dough (or make your own if you can)
1 x Jar of peanut butter (smooth works best, but chunky is also fine)
1 x Bar of good quality cooking chocolate
150g of plain flour
250g of unsalted butter
DIRECTIONS:
1. Take one pack of cookie dough out of the packet (or make your own if you’re feeling fancy), and with a rolling pin roll it out into a rough circle, making sure it’s about an inch thick.
2. Place the cookie dough into a circular shallow baking tin and trim off any excess.
3. Pour the jar of peanut butter out into a mixing bowl.
4. Then add the butter and flour and mix until well combined.
5. Transfer the peanut butter mix into the cookie dough tin and bake for three minutes.
6. Melt your bowl of chocolate (either in a microwave or ban marie) and pour over the top of the Reese’s Cup, spreading it out evenly over the top.
7. Leave to set in the fridge and enjoy your humongous Reese’s Cup.
