Most people probably won’t have ever even felt the need to have a tidy strip of pavement.

However, one meticulous woman in Henley-on-Thames couldn’t sit back and do nothing about a grubby path.

She was photographed outside a restaurant in the upmarket town vacuuming the pavement.

While using a trusty vacuum cleaner may have got the job done, it’s not the sort of thing you expect to see every day.

However, the image has begun to provoke a lot of debate online.

Is she a clean freak or simply just using her initiative?

It seems as if alfresco vacuuming is more common than you might think.

One woman from Leicestershire even admitted to regularly using a vacuum cleaner to spruce up her patio.
