‘Yes it is an obsession, I want to look perfect’: Woman, 30, spends £50k on 15 surgeries as she’s so desperate not to look like the mum who abandoned her
Star has changed her face so much she doesn't recognise herself
A 30-YEAR-OLD woman who's spent £50,000 on plastic surgery has lost count of the amount of operations she's had and is planning more - even though one left her "spitting bones".
Star started changing the way she looks 10 years ago and has already had at least 15 procedures.
She's planning to have a chin implant next, even though her nose job went badly wrong.
"I’ve lost count of how many things I’ve had done," she explained on Channel 5 show Body Freaks - Old Face New Face.
"I’ve had cheek implants and I have filler.
"I’ve had my eyeliner tattooed, my lip liner tattooed, I’ve tattooed my eyebrows.
"My nose… I’ve been changing my face for about 10 years now. I’ve lost count of how many things I’ve had done.
"Before I get to 35 I’ll have a face lift, I know that. I’m gonna have Botox in my arms. Obviously I’m not gonna get old am I?
"I used to look in the mirror and hate what I saw.
"My lips were crap, I didn’t have no cheeks, I didn’t like my chin. My face wasn’t as glamorous.
"I don’t recognise myself sometimes, I think, ‘Bloody hell, who’s that?’
"I had a [nose job and] – my whole nose has collapsed in the middle, I can’t breathe that much.
"When I’m jogging and stuff, sometimes I can’t breathe like I used to before because my nostrils were bigger. But it looks good, so that’s all I’m bothered about.
"That was horrendous actually... I was spitting bones out.”
Star had a traumatic time in her teenage years.
Her mum made her move out when she was just 17. She took Star to a hostel, handed her £20 and told her she was "on her own".
Ever since then Star, who was born Stacey, has done her most to erase any similarities between her and her mum.

"My old face represents all my past, all my bad luck, all my negatively," she said.
"Me and my mother do not have a relationship in any kind of way.
"That’s probably why I’ve changed my appearance.
"I had so much hate for her putting me [there] I thought, you know what? I don’t wanna look nothing like her. I’ve achieved that – no one thinks she’s my mum."
Star isn't done with surgery yet either.
She wants to have veneers fitted to her teeth, another boob job, liposuction on her bum and she's desperate for a chin implant.
Although she claims to have "body dysmorphia", Star sees nothing wrong with her devotion to plastic surgery.
Her boyfriend, who's paid for most of the procedures, isn't so happy about them.
He can't understand why she's so desperate to change herself when she is "beautiful as she is", but Star won't be swayed.
"It’s never going to stop, he knows that," she said.
"I think he gets a bit worried about that sometimes.
"When I’m looking good he likes that. When I've had big lips and they just look crap, then he gets fed up.
"I want to transform my whole life. OK I’ve been born into that family, but let's move on from there.
"Yes it is an obsession, I want to look perfect.
"I’m gonna do my chin. It’s just like going to the dentist and having a tooth out."
Star is seen visiting a doctor to discuss her chin implant plans.
Although the medic shows her what she'd look like after the op, he's also keen to discuss why she wants it.
For the first time during the show Star becomes emotional as she explains: "I can’t seem to climb the ladder in life because I’ve always got people getting jealous of me and holding me back.
"A lot of it stems from my mum.
"I think we’ve just finally opened the book up because it’s quite hard for me.
"I’ve got such a horrible past and I do all this to myself to forget that."
Body Freaks - Old Face New Face airs on Thursday August 4 at 10pm on Channel 5.
