Make-up artist's top tips

  • Avoid eyeshadow creases by putting translucent powder on eyelids.
  •  Put cling film under the eyes to catch pigment from eye shadow and then remove.
  • Apply mascara to your bottom lashes first, as you will open the eyes wider. If you have already applied mascara to your top lashes you are more likely to get blobbing on the lids.
  • Buff away dead skin on your lips with a blend of olive oil and brown sugar.
  • Plump lips by dotting liquid illuminator over the shape of the Cupid’s bow.
  • Get a fresh, dewy complexion by adding an illuminating cream across cheeks, temples, forehead and jawline, between your moisturiser and foundation.
  •  Use toothpaste to brighten your nails and remove any yellow tinge.
