Remember those Juicy Couture tracksuits that all the celebs were wearing in the noughties? The velour joggers are making a comeback
Catwalks in Paris have been featuring cherry-red onesies designed by the iconic brand
DURING the noughties all the big name celebrities were sporting a velour tracksuit designed by Juicy Couture but by 2007 the style had fallen away - until now.
Between the years of 2004 and 2007 almost every A-lister on the planet was kicking back in one of Juicy Couture's brightly coloured running suits.
And with Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Paris Hilton at the forefront of the brand, the company became a signal for "new money".
But sadly for the fashion brand, the reign of velour zip-hoodies and low slung trousers with a huge rhinestone 'Juice' emblazoned on the bum was over by 2007.
It's not known what caused the official death of the tracksuit, whether it was Katie Price just about holding her 32GG breasts in place with the metal 'J' zipper or Kerry Katona buying one in every colour in LA - all that's certain is that no celeb would be seen dead in one after that.
But, fast forward almost 10 years, and take a look at the Paris catwalks because Juicy Couture are bringing back a revamped version of the once iconic outfit.
The fashion label have recently unveiled a cherry-red Juicy Couture jumpsuit 'onesie' and the popular U.S. store Bloomingdales have announced they'll be bringing out a comeback line in seven colours.
The store's vice chairman Frank Doroff said: "Juicy was the originator of ath-leisure (work out gear, that spilled over into daywear), a trend that resonates with our customers and has a strong presence in our Fall 2016 assortment."
And it's not just our friends across the pond who are reacting, British girls have been desperately trying to track down a vintage version of the velour outfit.
