A DAD has posted a picture every parent can relate to – showing his toddler trying to get his attention while he uses the toilet.

After being posted on , ‘my toddler while I’m trying to use the bathroom’ has been liked by more than 5,000 people – with hundreds of parents saying the scene is very familiar.

Brew Shakes wrote: “I live in a pre-war apartment with old a** bathroom doors with no functioning locks.

“So my toddler just busts right in and then tells me how I’m taking a s*** and then sits on her own potty and stares at me before handing me the toilet paper.”

And I Am Getting Swifty shared: “My bathroom doesn’t have a lock, so I get a creepy squeaky door slowly opened a crack with just an eyeball looking at me followed by soft giggles.

“Poops have become a thing of nightmares.”

While Matthew Shore wrote: “Not bathroom related, but I was once woken by my 2 year old daughter gently pressing my eyelids and repeatedly whispering ‘daddy’s eyes’. Nightmare fuel.”

I Izzie had a similar experience, adding: “Or even just standing there staring at you until you feel their presence.

“Then they get taller than you and you open your eyes and see a full grown person lurking over you. Scary.”

Dawn Pendraig shared: “Ah that brings back memories. Mine is 8 now and he thinks it’s a great time to barge in and ask favours.

“Maybe he is smarter than I am cause I usually say whatever to get him out.”

Some people thought the kid was onto something, with Time For Stories appreciating his stance for ‘aggressive negotiations’.
