TATTOO enthusiasts will flock to Yorkshire in their thousands this weekend, as the record-breaking Tattoo Jam Convention descends on Doncaster Racecourse.

Ink lovers are able to get work done by some of the world's best body artists at the weekend-long tattoo festival, which kicked off on Friday.

The Jam promises to celebrate all things ink-related, and is a mecca for tattoo loving Brits, who will be able to experience free seminars and workshops at the busy event.

Other highlights include extensive live entertainment, which will accompany the presentation of this year's prestigious Tattoo Industry Awards.

And these pictures from the eighth annual show, which wraps up on Sunday, suggest that the event has proved hugely popular, with the British tattoo industry continuing to thrive.

The event is run by the publishers of Skin Deep, Skin Shots International, Tattoo Master Magazines, Tattoo Vixens, The Tattoo Bible, Tattoo and Dynamite bookazines, with over 200 working artists bringing their ink to this year's convention.
