The weird optical illusion was posted on Imgur by user kaevondong and has been trending ever since.
His caption, which explains what is actually happening here, read: “Looking straight up with a beard.”
The internet was pretty confused by the whole thing, with one poster commenting: “I was trying to work out what I was looking at, here.”
The comments from some who viewed the odd picture were pretty smutty but some pointed out the similarity to a certain Sesame Street character.
One wrote: “It looks like Beaker!”
Another added: “Tattoo Beaker's face on his neck.”
