Lad ditches his ‘I’m on me holidays’ tattoo to get married…but now he’s had it inked back so his wife is DIVORCING him
Tattoo Fixers covered the body art but Sam's missus left him six weeks after wedding when the tatt came back
IT’S not often the Tattoo Fixers cover up an inking, only to have someone put it back the way it was.
But in this week’s episode Jay, Sketch and co are shocked when a former customer returns to tell them he REDID the tattoo they’d covered – and it cost him his bride.
Sam, from Manchester, had appeared in a previous series to have an arm tattoo which read “I’m on me holidays” covered with a monkey design.
But they were stunned when he walked into their pop up salon to reveal he had the same phrase redone on his other arm.
He said: “My missus said she wouldn’t marry me unless I got it covered up, so Sketch did a nice little monkey.
“But I missed it that much I had it redone.
“As you can imagine, it didn’t go down very well.
“The wedding did go ahead but six week later, no more. So I’m back on my holidays.”
An amazed Sketch asked him: “Did you split up because of it?
He nodded and replied: “It was part of it.”

But his plans for the Tattoo Fixers didn’t include another cover up.
Sketch asked: “Does it look like it could be back on the cards?”
When Sam said it wasn’t, he added: “So you’ re not here to get that covered and win her back.”
He replied: “Am I heck?”
Sam added: “I’m going to have a good time, not tied down. I’m going to let my hair down and get a new tattoo for a new chapter.”
In fact he just wanted another monkey because the first one Sketch did was “lonely.”
He might not be the only one if that holiday tatt stays.
Tattoo Fixers on Holiday is on E4 on Tuesday night at 9pm.
