A STUNNING 12,000 acre estate has been put on the market for a whopping £10 million… but property owners might have to outbid Samantha Cameron if they want to get their hands on it.
Breath-taking Tillyptonie Estate is located near Tarland, Aberdeenshire.
The property is owned by Philip Astor, a member of the Anglo-American Astor family, with ties to the former Prime Minister's wife.
It’s rumoured that Samantha Cameron has fallen in love with Tillypronie because of its beauty and her family connections to the Astor clan.
Even though current owner Philip Astor describes the house as a “truly magical place”, he now hopes to sell the estate to someone who can continue developing it.
He revealed: "The house is one of those places that immediately conveys a sense of happiness; and I don't think the garden has ever looked so beautiful.
"I have worked hard over the past few years to restore the grouse moors to something approaching their former glory, but I feel it is now time for someone else to continue that exercise.”
The unique property boasts a Victorian Gothic-style exterior but it’s lavishly furnished to perfection.
Not only does the house come with its own church, it also boasts grounds that can be used for salmon-fishing and pheasant shooting.
The listing also boasts that the home comes complete with a farmhouse and steading, which have a potential to be converted further.
To complete the fancy countryside lifestyle, potential buyers could also get their hands on the resident’s houses, cottages and farm buildings, which contain a troop of horses.
