It’s rumoured that Samantha Cameron has fallen in love with Tillypronie because of its beauty and her family connections to the Astor clan.

Even though current owner Philip Astor describes the house as a “truly magical place”, he now hopes to sell the estate to someone who can continue developing it.

He revealed: "The house is one of those places that immediately conveys a sense of happiness; and I don't think the garden has ever looked so beautiful.

There’s no doubt that the estate has caused a frenzy among buyers, as the estate is currently the most expensive on the Scottish market.
