MEET THE FOKKENS

These twin grandmothers have slept with an eye-watering 355,000 men between them!

Introducing the Dutch twins whose life turning tricks in the Amsterdam windows led them to have sex with around 177,500 men each

During their illustrious 50 year careers, these twin retired-prostitutes saw more than just a few punters cross the threshold of their Amsterdam window-display bedrooms.

Grandmothers Louise and Martine Fokken can’t say for certain how many men they have entertained but they estimate around a whopping 355,000 between them.

The Amsterdam favourites, now in their 70s, have called time on their combined 100-year career.

Mother-of-four Louise described how her age is a barrier when working as her arthritis makes some positions too painful.

Increasingly stiff competition from the younger women, meant they found fewer and fewer men wanting to pay for their services, although Martine enjoyed regular trade from an elderly gent with very specific sadomasochistic requests.

She said: “I couldn't give him up. He's been coming to me for so long it's like going to church on a Sunday.”

In 2012 they were stars of a documentary called “Countless” about their lives and they have also penned a book describing their exploits in the oldest profession in the world.

Louise became a prostitute in her early 20s as she and her violent husband needed the money.

Martine initially became a cleaner in the brothels but eventually joined her sister.

Despite working in Amsterdam for half a century each the sisters no longer feel at home in the area.

Louise said: “It is very different now. We used to sit in the windows with clothes on. Today they are totally naked.

“There are few Dutch women and no sense of community these days.”
