Watch the amazing moment a 23-year-old woman performs gravity-defying pole-dance tricks – when 35 weeks PREGNANT
Some parents have questioned whether the fitness activity could be damaging
A MUM-TO-BE is determined to keep up her profession, pulling off an incredible pole dancing routine during her 35th week of pregnancy.
On the brink of giving birth, 23-year-old Tabitha Vincent is still as supple and energetic as ever.
Impressively, the athletic first time mum can still hang upside down and fling herself around a pole.
The pole instructor, from Perth, Australia, was determined to keep on dancing through her pregnancy.
Tabitha, who is expected a little girl with her boyfriend Jade Tawhai, revealed: "I saw a video go viral of a lady pole dancing to bring on her labour and thought I'd love to do the same thing.
"I have a pole at home, so if I have time during my labour I'll definitely have a little play on it.
"If nothing else, it'll keep my mind off the contractions."
The expecting mum’s love of pole dancing was first ignited in 2012, when she went to her first ever class.
After getting hooked on the sport, she had her own pole installed in her home, where she’d work-out on a few times per week.
Six months before Tabitha found out she was pregnant, she landed a job as a pole fitness instructor.
She explained: "I hadn't been teaching for very long when I found out I was pregnant. Obviously, with the outfits I wear to teach, there's no hiding my bump, so I had to tell my employer a lot sooner than most.”

Initially, Tabitha questioned whether she should carry on dancing during her pregnancy.
Midwives advised Tabitha it was unlikely for her to harm her unborn baby because of her pole routine, as her body was already used to that sort of exercise.
Tabitha reassured: "I post a lot of photos, and have had a few negative comments asking whether my body and baby can handle what I'm doing…
"Obviously, my baby's health is the most important thing to me and I'd never do anything to jeopardise that.
"Mostly, people are just impressed that I can still do these moves so far into my pregnancy."
Even though Tabitha doesn’t work out as frequently, she’s excited to start her family and get her body back in shape.
She said: "If everything goes well and I have a straightforward, natural delivery, I'm hoping to be back on the pole as soon as possible.
"I'm dying to get back into it."
