Heartwarming moment dog is reunited with his owner after six months away
Romeo the Dachshund barks and jumps for joy after sniffing out P.J Smith, who had been away with the US Air Force

IT was a case of puppy love for this pooch after he was reunited with his owner and the heartwarming moment was captured on camera.
Romeo the dachshund had no idea P.J Smith had returned from his six month training with the US air force.
The sausage dog was left with his owners parents in Florida and was put in the garden by Smith's father, Ken, when P.J arrived, to be reunited with his four-legged friend.
In the clip Ken says to the camera: "We're at home and we're in the house. Romeo is outside and he doesn't know P.J. is back yet."
The pup can be seen staring inside the house and wags his tail, clearly aware something is up.
P.J has already snuck upstairs to hide in a bedroom - but it doesn't take Romeo more than 30 seconds to sniff out his owners whereabouts.
Running in and out of every room, he soon finds the right one and barks as he stares intently at the bed.

P.J comes out of his hiding spot and the pooch can't contain his delight.
As he says: "Hey buddy, hey" Romeo, climbs on his owner and licks his face.
Romeo the pups emotional reunion
The pup is so excited P.J even struggles to sit up as he copes with the dog's enthusiasm.
The video ends with Romeo jumping up and down and barking as Ken can be heard saying: "That's pretty funny."
