Could you walk down this creepy corridor every night? Video of a ‘haunted’ block of flats is freaking out social media
Eerie music, weird cackles and a muffled scream greet spooked residents of these flats
WOULD you fancy walking down this corridor every night?
This eerie footage of a “haunted” hallway in a block of flats has been seriously freaking out the internet.
The video – posted by a man who lives in the building – shows a spooky route to the lift with clinical walls and scuffed up paint on the floor.
But it’s the sound effects that are really creepy.
A thudding sound like a heartbeat echoes through the corridors and a high-pitched sound can be heard.
As he carries on walking the echo of eerie music drifts through the building and the walls even appear to pulsate.
Then, as the man filming rounds a corner towards the lift, a sinister CACKLE rings through the hall and a muffled scream is briefly heard
The resident – who filmed the clip in Washington DC – wrote: "This building leads to my flat upstairs. I walk through this hallway late at night every day.
"The sounds are the same almost every night. I don't know what it is. What is up with my scary apartment?
"Maybe just some rusty pipes? Haha."
Viewers of the footage were terrified by the footage – and advised the uploader to seek alternative accommodation.
One LiveLeak user wrote: "That's creepy and depressing. F*** that place. Looks creepy as f***. What a dungeon."
Another commented: "You actually pay to live there? I have seen Victorian prisons that are more appealing."
